Our sponsors for 2017
On 26th November 2016 we held the biggest ever Christmas Extravaganza which saw almost 38,000 people come into the town centre. A full day of entertainment kept the crowds in town all day, and helped boost trade. A Christmas market stretched the length of Bath Street, filled with local crafts, produce & charities.
Many local groups joined our parade, including Abingdon Traditional Morris Dancers, Oxon Film & Stage Works and Kingfisher School.
Our main stage provided a variety of performers all day including local singers, Sophie Elise & Publix. The came the highlight of our day, we were joined by Jo, Tina & Bradley from S Club 7. They performed a selection of hits just before the Christmas lights were switched on.

Previous Christmas Extravaganzas
We had another really great day on Saturday 26th November 2015, with thousands of people turing out for a funfilled day in Abingdon. Lots of local groups performed, with many charities & organisations taking stalls through the day.
The day culminated with a fire performance just before the lights were switched on by our competition winner. Then an amazing fireworks display lit up the night sky.
Thanks to all of our sponsors in 2015

2012The Christmas Extravaganza 2012 was a fantastic sucess. We had loads of entertainment to keep the crowds in the town all day. From the reindeer, Punch & Judy and side stalls in Bath Street to the small farm in Roysse court, there was plenty going on. Not to mention all the local bands, groups & organisations that gave up there time to support the event.
A big thank you to everyone who organised and sponsored the event, everyone who helped on the day and not to forget the great people of Abingdon for supporting the town.
